Faith Over Doubt
These questions are designed for you to think on through the week, discuss with a Bible Fellowship or accountability partner, or lead with in family devotions. We hope they help you in your spiritual development.
- What are two takeaways that you had from tonight’s sermon?
- Why do you believe that doubt plagues so many Christians?
- Name someone in your life who exhibits faith daily in God. How does that person make a conscious effort to choose faith over doubt? What changes can you make to exhibit more faith?
- Read Hebrews 11:6. What does this say pleases God?
- Read James 1:6–8. Discuss what it means to be "tossed by the wind." How does James describe someone who doubts?
- Pray and ask God for increased faith. Ask Him to replace your doubts with faith.
Memory Verse: "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1
