Love Over Lust

These questions are designed for you to think on through the week, discuss with a Bible Fellowship or accountability partner, or lead with in family devotions. We hope they help you in your spiritual development.

1. What did Jesus say about lust? Read Matthew 5:27–30. What do these verses teach us about the standard to which we are called?
2. Read 1 Thessalonians 4:3. What is Paul’s advice regarding sexual immorality?
3. Read Proverbs 5:12 and 5:23. What are the similarities in these verses? What are three beneficial aspects of being disciplined?
4. What is love? Read 1 John 4:7–12 and discuss love in the context of the Church.
5. Wisdom ultimately comes from God. Pray and ask God to protect you from the dangers of lust. Ask Him to give you wisdom in those situation
